In this crochet pattern I will show you how to crochet little birds. The little birds are very simple and continuously crocheted in spiral rounds. You start with the body, then are following two wings, a beak and two legs. All parts are sewn together and then just a few eyes are missing.

Finish Crocheted Little Birds

If you finished crocheting all parts, they will be sewn together. First sew both wings to the sides of the body. For this you can simply fold them flat and sew through both sides. The wings are placed at the 6th row from top with 11 stitches spacing.

Now sew the beak around to the body. The beak extends approximately from the 7th to the 9th row and is placed exactly in the middle of both wings.

Then the feet are knot to the body. They sit in the 13th round with a distance of about 3 stitches. Orient yourself to both wings and the beak to position them well. You can see here also, how knot small Amigurumi parts.

Then you sew on two black beads as eyes. Put them in the 6th row left and right to the beak. Depending on your taste you can set them more or minor apart. If you want to use safety eyes, you need to attach them already when crocheting the body.

Now your first bird is already finished. Crochet a whole lot of multicolored little birds and use them as decoration or give them as a gift. With a hanger they are flying funny across the room at a mobile. Attach a key ring to get small birds as a key chain.
