Finish Orca Whale
Now we can sew together the crocheted Orca Whale. Before you start you should pin together all parts. This way you can easily find the right positions and correct things also easy.
First we will sew together the tail fin up to the half. Both parts are facing with the open side to each other and the notch is on the same side. Use a new piece of the crochet yarn and start in the middle. Sew both parts together, fist to the end and then back to the middle. The secure the thread ends inside the tail fin.
Next place the tail fin on the tip of the body. On both sides the tail fin is in one line with the nose and the eyes. Seen from top it is just flat and in the middle. Use the thread ends to sew the tail fin from both sides to the middle.
Next sew on the belly to the bottom of the body. The front part is just a little below the nose tip and has the same distance to the eyes. The back part is directing in one line to the tail fin.
After that you can also sew the cheeks to the sides behind the eyes. Her you can also use the thread ends to sew around. All thread ends will be secured behind the cheeks and the belly.
Now you sew the fins to the body. They sit on the right and the left indent of the belly between the 25th and 29th round of the body. The fins are not sewn exactly horizontally, they show a little bit upwards at the back. Use also the thread ends and secure them inside the body.
At least we sew on the dorsal fin, which is sewn on the middle at the back and starts with the 22nd round of the body. Seen from top the dorsal fin is in line with the nose tip and tail tip. If you like you can bent the fin a bit down and sew it down with some stitches.
Congratulations! Your crocheted Orca Whale is finished! See you!
