Crochet Pattern: Amigurumi – Crochet Small Sun “Sunshine” For the Amigurumi Sun we first crochet two parts for the center. Then crochet one border around the center, while crocheting both pieces together. If you want you can make a face for the Amigurumi sun and of course the crocheted sun will be filled and stuffed.
Crochet Sun Center (2x) double crochet stitches (UK!). Crochet the center for the sun two times from inside to outside in spiral rounds with light yellow: 1st round: magic ring + 6 double crochet stitches (UK!) = 6 stitches 2nd round: double every stitch = 12 stitches 3rd round: double every 2nd stitch = 18 stitches 4th round: double every 3rd stitch = 24 stitches 5th round: double every 4th stitch = 30 stitches 6th round: double every 5th stitch = 36 stitches 7th round: each stitch one stitch = 36 stitches beyond the end of the round: 1x 1 slip stitch into one stitch Attach Safety Eyes, Position: after the 3rd round 8 stitches distance cut the thread, pull off the loop
Crochet Sun Border Now let’s crochet a border around the sun, which has the shape of sun rays. We crochet both parts together and of course the sun is still filled.
You start anywhere and always stitch into both loops of the front and back sides.
yellow: 1 slip stitch + 1 lifting-chain stitch repeat: in jede 1st Masche: 1 half treble crochet stitch (UK!) 1 treble crochet stitch (UK!) 1 double treble crochet stitch (UK!) 1 triple treble crochet stitch (UK!) 2 chain stitches + 1 slip stitch in die 1st chain stitch in jede 2nd Masche: 1 triple treble crochet stitch (UK!) 1 double treble crochet stitch (UK!) 1 treble crochet stitch (UK!) 1 half treble crochet stitch (UK!) in jede 3rd Masche: 1 double crochet stitch (UK!) cut the thread, pull off the loop, secure and weave in the thread end
You simply repeat the sun rays until the end of the round and continue to stitch into both loops of the front and back sides.
Shortly before the end of the round, the sun is completely filled and stuffed.
Then you just crochet until the border is completely closed.
Finish Amigurumi Sun
This way is your
crocheted Amigurumi sun actually already finished. If you want you can still embroider a mouth with black darning yarn and paint a few cheeks with pink acrylic paint.
