Crochet Pattern: Amigurumi – Tinier Crochet Flower “Wegera”
For the tinier crochet flower we first crochet 6 petals and then a stamen. Then the petals are sewn all around to the stamp and thus your tinier crochet flower is already finished.
Crochet Flower Petals (6x)
First we want to crochet 6 petals for the crochet flower. There for we always start at the tip and crochet in spiral rounds with only double crochet stitches (UK!). The crocheted petals are not filled but simply folded flat. That they buckle a bit is normal and also desired. The lower side of the petals is left open and will be sewn flat to the stamen later.
- white:
- 1st round: magic ring + 6 double crochet stitches (UK!) = 6 stitches
- 2nd round: double every stitch = 12 stitches
- 3rd – 5th round: (= 3 rounds) each stitch one stitch = 12 stitches
- 6th round: crochet together every 5th and 6th stitch = 10 stitches
- 7th round: crochet together every 4th and 5th stitch = 8 stitches
- 8th round: crochet together every 3rd and 4th stitch = 6 stitches
- cut the thread generous, pull off the loop, DONT cut the thread end, will be needed for sewing later
Crochet Flower Stamen (1x)
Now we crochet a stamen for the crochet flower in spiral rounds with only double crochet stitches (UK!). For this we just crochet a sphere, fill it and close it at the end.
- yellow:
- 1st round: magic ring + 6 double crochet stitches (UK!) = 6 stitches
- 2nd round: double every stitch = 12 stitches
- 3rd – 5th round: (= 3 rounds) each stitch one stitch = 12 stitches
- fill and stuff completely
- 6th round: crochet together every 1st and 2nd stitch = 6 stitches
- cut the thread generous, pull off the loop, close remaining opening, secure and weave in the thread end
Finish Flower
Finally the petals are folded flat and sewn to the stamen with the thread ends. They are evenly placed around the equator of the stamen. It´s easy when always sewing the opposite petals one after the other. Subsequently all thread ends are secured and weaved in inside. So your crochet flower is already finished.
I wish you flowery days and look forward to your next visit!
