How to crochet Easter eggs I´ll show you in this pattern. You can crochet the Easter eggs with only one colour, striped or patterned. Also you can embroider your finished eggs and decorate them with beads. Crocheted Easter Eggs are a nice decoration but also a nice gift for Easter.

Crochet Pattern: Crochet Easter Eggs
You can crochet the Easter eggs in spiral rounds or circle rounds. For striped Easter eggs I recommend you to crochet in circle rounds, so there will be no transitions on colour change. We crochet the Easter eggs from top down in rounds.
- 1st round: magic ring + 5 double crochet stitches (UK!) = 5 stitches
- 2nd round: double every stitch = 10 stitches
- 3rd round: double every 2nd stitch = 15 stitches
- 4th round: double every 3rd stitch = 20 stitches
- 5th round: each stitch one stitch = 20 stitches
- 6th round: double every 4th stitch = 25 stitches
- 7th round: each stitch one stitch = 25 stitches
- 8th round: double every 5th stitch = 30 stitches
- 9th – 12th round: (= 4 rounds) each stitch one stitch = 30 stitches
- 13th round: crochet together every 4th and 5th stitch = 24 stitches
- 14th round: crochet together every 3rd and 4th stitch = 18 stitches
- 15th round: crochet together every 2nd and 3rd stitch = 12 stitches
- fill and stuff completely
- 16th round: crochet together every 1st and 2nd stitch = 6 stitches
- cut the thread generous, pull off the loop, close remaining opening, secure and weave in the thread end
Crochet Dotted Easter Eggs
For a dotted Ester egg just crochet an egg in one colour and decorate it with beads.
Crochet Striped Easter Eggs
You can make striped crochet eggs by changing the yarn colour every or every second row.
Crochet Patterned Easter Eggs
If you like you can also crochet patterned easter eggs. I made here a simple Norway pattern. Because there are no increases or decreases from row 9 to 12, you can easily make patterns there.
